As per the announcement and statement, the commission will take almost 18-24 months to submit their final report

After submitting the report by the commission the Govt. of India implemented 7th pay commission report with effect from 1st January, 2016 to all Central Government Employees.

More than 5 million Central Government Employees and 3 million Pensioners will get directly benefited from 7^th Pay Commission.
